Welcome JUNIOR Students & Parents
Our Purpose
The purpose of Class Parents 2026 is to serve as an avenue for communication between the PTO, the Academics & Fine Arts Committee, the school counselors, the administration, the Student Government (SGA), and BHS students and parents. Each grade level has a committee of parent representatives who remain with the class all four years.

CLASS PARENTS ACCOMPLISH ITS PURPOSE BY:
- Partnering with the Academics & Fine Arts Committee and BHS school counselors and administrators. By teaming up with these groups, Class Parent Leaders can promote the highest level of academic, artistic, and personal achievement; provide information on curriculum planning and the college preparation process; promote personal development and support student government.
- Meeting at least two times during the school year with parents and BHS representatives.
- Establishing our role in assisting these other organizations in providing opportunities for our students.
SENIOR CELEBRATION:
The 2026 Class Parent Leadership Team begins collecting funds second semester of Junior year for Senior Celebration. The recommended donation is $160. Your $160 Senior Celebration donation funds many events for EVERY student during their Senior year including, but not limited to:
- Senior treats (usually monthly)
- Class of 2026 T-shirt or Tank top (your choice if paid by 5/22/25)
- Senior Sunrise breakfast
- Homecoming float build snacks
- Graduation yard sign for each senior
- Baccalaureate - printing of programs and sound engineer
- Catered luncheon for all seniors following the graduation rehearsal
- Flowers and plants for the May 2026 graduation stage
Again, the funds that cover these expenses come from your donations. Gifts will depend on available funds and are coordinated by the 2026 Class Parents Leadership Team. We ask that you complete the form and make your donation by the end of our Junior Year (5/22/25) so your student gets to select a t-shirt OR tank top.
Please note the $160 Senior Celebration donation is separate from the $45 BHS "graduation fee" charged by the school. The BHS graduation fee covers your diploma, diploma cover, final transcript, cost of graduation venue, etc.

EVENTS SPONSORED/LED BY BHS:
BHS sponsors several wonderful events throughout the school year. These events are sponsored/led by the Student Government Association (SGA) or BHS faculty - not the PTO. Parents will be contacted by the BHS faculty sponsor or grade-level Assistant Principal specific to the event to share details, sign-ups, and other pertinent information as well as to potentially ask for donations or volunteer assistance.
Some of the great events that are sponsored/led by BHS include:
- Freshman Tailgate
- Freshman Formal
- Homecoming
- Coming Home
- Prom
- Spring Spirit Week
